Seminar Overview :

The economies of many nations in the world were hit by the recession which started in United States recently. Many  American multinationals incurred heavy losses and declared their bankruptcy. The giants like Lehman Brothers had to wind up their business. Since the US is a powerful economic source for other developing and underdeveloped countries, other economies also started to face the impact of this recession. Though it is argued that Indian economy does not have such adverse effect, many of the example are showing the argument is baseless. This seminar is organized to discuss this issue widely and to interact the eminent scholars across the Indian Continent.
